DICE DRAWINGS
After the complexity of printmaking - in process and equipment - I was curious to see the direction my work would take if I reduced it to absolute basics. Unsure of how to proceed I challenged myself to work with the tools on hand, a graphite pencil, paper, and ruler. I decided to use the roll of a dice to dictate how many lines would be in each drawing, further rolls dictating how long each line would be.
